Kristen Cooper was a girl of many things. She was a friend, a daughter, a student and even, as of six months ago, an accomplice in a murder. You would think that a girl like Kris could just handle that hanging over her head everyday, but she honestly was breaking apart from it. Kris had never been involved in anything remotely related to a crime like that, but there she had been just six months ago, standing over two dead bodies with just her two best friends to accompany her. How, you may ask? Well, that is really simple. It was all a matter of chance, paired with freaked out friends and a rather large rock nearby. But we won't get too much into the past, for, at that moment, Kris was trying desperately to forget just that. She didn't want to remember the horrible times or what people had been gossiping about the murderer that still had yet to be caught. She didn't want to think about how people were saying that someone who could just kill someone like that or watch it being done was psychotic and in need of mental help. That wasn't Kristen at all, and she didn't ever want to be that way. She was just a girl who had been scared .. Was that so bad?
As these thoughts and many others filled Kris' head, she could be seen heading out the large white door from her house into the streets of Devious Point. The girl had no idea where she wanted to go or who she wanted to see, but Kris was so sick and tired of hearing her bitch about how her father was a 'no good, cheap, bastard' as she kept saying. Apparently the phone call she had recieved from him didn't please her but hey, it wasn't Kris' problem. Her father had left them and as far as she was concerned, he was dead. He never tried to keep in contact unless it's to send the family money or tell them he couldn't give child support that month. Either way, the conversations were brief and most of the time, it felt like Kris had been born just by her mother. Like she'd never had a dad or father figure at all. Could you imagine growing up that way? Well, unfortunately, the petite brunette now wandering through the backroads of Devious Point, which most of them were backroads, could imagine just that.
"Snap out of it, Kristen." she kept telling herself, trying to get rid of every thought that could possibly ruin her previously good mood. She didn't want to spend yet another night thinking about her dad or of her mistakes. Kris, for once, just wanted a normal night .. Like when she was in junior high school and her and her friends would spend the entire night telling each other ghost stories or egging someone's house or just enjoying themselves doing nothing. What ever happened to those times? Where did they go and why did it have to end so quickly? These were the questions that Kris wanted answered most. But she had a feeling that they never would be. As these particular thoughts filled Kristen's head, however, she could just barely hear footsteps in the distance. In less than a second, every thought she had been thinking seemed to just float away as she wondered who else was wandering the streets at eleven o'clock at night. Most people were scared to be out of their house after dark, but apparently not some certain person. So now, the question bugging Kristen's mind was simple .. Who's there?
| thanks so much to panda at rcr for the set.

Juliette couldn't stand herself, much less stand being in Devious Point. The things she had said and done in the past few months were things that no one could stand of themselves, that was, unless you were a complete psycopath, which lets just begin by saying, she wasn't. Juliette, for the most part anyways, had always been a simple girl. Thats not to say that her thoughts were simple although, because we all know that anyone with simple thoughts could not committ murder on two accounts, but moving on. She was simple in the way that she had very little to say, very few close friends and an individuality that would shock even the people who knew her better than anyone else. She had exactly two best friends...And that fact continued to remain as the start of yet another year of high school had started just a month previous to the day.
Thinking back to that fateful day when Michael Taylor had taken the fall and died at Willow's Creek, Juliette couldn't help but think about how things would be different if she had chosen not to 'get rid' of the only witness there was, Jordan Duke.
not done.
