[ » ] as you should notice when you read the plot, which you should read after this if you haven't already, this site is a murder / mystery site and that means if your not mature enough to handle that type of thing, we don't want you here. it's nothing personal, but if your going to be one of those people that will constantly complain, we're not interested.

[ » ] when you are going to register your character and fill out the application, make sure you plan on finishing it within a week. we do not want to clutter up the site and after a week, give or take a few days, we will be deleting your application if it's not finished. so this is your warning.

[ » ] when filling out your application, remember that we love detail and although we aren't particularly picky on what you put into your app, we will not tolerate laziness. in the 'anything else' part of your application, put the word 'framed'. if you just fill out the appearance part saying 'blonde hair, blue eyes' or something to that effect, what will make us believe you won't be that lazy when your posting?

[ » ] yes, this site is purely for entertainment purposes and we know that, but for some, it is annoying when someone doesn't really care what they put on the site. i, especially, hate when people just throw everything together with no thought into anything. that's why there's an application process. if you just barely do anything, i'll just barely not accept you. got it?

[ » ] okay. it is important to remember that no one, meaning not even you, is perfect in real life. and we're trying to keep this site as realistic as possible. yes, it's a murder site, but, hey .. that happens in real life too, lol. so since no one's perfect in real life, don't make your characters be on here. we won't accept you if they seem perfect. everyone has a flaw.

[ » ] although we are not going to be super picky and check every single one of your threads, if we notice constant one-liners, we will pm you about it. we want people to at least put some thought into their posting, so 400 words is the minimum, which is only the length of two decent-sized paragraphs. there is a word counter at the bottom of the page, so check and make sure, will you?

[ » ] grammar and spelling. it is important to make sure that you pay close attention to both of these because, would you want to read a post where every other word is misspelled? there's a spell check at the bottom of the post reply page, so use it. and also, absolutely no chat lingo or internet speak in character.

[ » ] godmodding is, basically, a big no-no. we will not tolerate people trying to power-play on here, especially if it has to do with the murders. every month there will be a new headline / plot where we'll update people on what's going on so you must stick to the plot. if your character figures it all out in a real-life day .. the site will be dead, won't it? yes, and we certainly don't want that to happen. so try to stick to the plot as much as possible and don't try to control characters other than your own, okay?

[ » ] seeing how this is a site based upon murders and killings, we expect everyone who joins to be mature enough to handle mature things. this includes sex, alchohol, drugs and cussing. this site is rated [R] because of all the events that can / will happen. but don't over-do things. if your having sex, put a warning and notify an admin. yes, even in the role-play world, sex has consequences .. and the admin have the right to choose your fate.

[ » ] i will say this once, and once only .. we will be having monthly activity checks to see who is still on the site and who is not. so if you don't want to be deleted, i suggest you either actually come on the site once in a while or post in the arrivals and depatures board that you're going to be away. we would like an estimate as to when you'll be back if not an exact date so please try to let us know if your going to be gone.

[ » ] try and keep the size of your signatures to no more than 475 pixels wide by 400 pixels tall. we don't want you to stretch out the board and therefore, would appreciate if you keep things small. we have the right to delete your signature if we warn you about this but you don't listen to us.

[ » ] along with that .. do not just ignore the admin. we are all knowing. we are powerful. and we have the right to ban you from the forum. if you disrespect us or another member, the iron fist will come down. lol, okay .. we aren't that mean. but seriously guys, don't purposely do things you know will annoy us. it will only end up in a few warning pm's or if it's serious, a complete and total ban from the site.

[ » ] and lastly, but definitely not least and probably the most important rule of all .. HAVE FUN. we want you to enjoy yourselves and be creative. that is kind of the whole point of the site. so just do us all a favor and enjoy the site by not ruining it for everyone else.
